Establishing Australia’s first ‘recall by genotype’ (RbG) cohort to elucidate common disease mechanisms
Establishing Australia’s first ‘recall by genotype’ (RbG) cohort to elucidate common disease mechanisms
You are invited to join a first of its kind ‘recall by genotype’ (RbG) cohort here in South Australia. To participate, you will be asked to provide your contact details, complete a health questionnaire, and provide a saliva sample to enable us to collect your personal genetic data. We may then re-contact you to participate in future research studies based on your personal genetic data. This strategy differs from traditional ‘case-control’ studies where participants are recruited based on the presence/absence of a specific trait. This cohort will enable us to explore how genetic variants might impact human traits and diseases.
